Our tutoring runs alongside the New Zealand school year, so support lines up with what your child is learning in class.
How our terms work
Impact Tutoring follows the four New Zealand school terms. During term time your child keeps building on exactly what they are covering at school, so the sessions reinforce classroom learning rather than pulling against it.
- Term 1 - late January to mid April
- Term 2 - late April to early July
- Term 3 - mid July to late September
- Term 4 - mid October to mid December
Exact start and finish dates shift slightly each year and can vary between regions, so your local hub will always confirm the current dates with you when you enrol.
The school holidays
The breaks between terms are a great time to get ahead, catch up, or keep skills ticking over. We run holiday tutoring and holiday programmes in most breaks - a relaxed, focused way to build confidence without the pressure of the school routine.
Holiday sessions fill quickly, so it is worth asking your hub early.
