Kia Ora & Talofa lava!

My name is Loren Paewai and I am grateful to be joining the Impact Tutoring program as a secondary mathematics tutor. 

I am currently completing a Bachelor’s degree of Science majoring in mathematics at the University of Waikato, with plans to become a secondary math teacher in the future.

 I have volunteered as a youth worker in Australia and Samoa, with much more to give here in New Zealand.

Other than mathematics, I love sport and music! Basketball takes the crown for me and if I had a million dollars I would go to so many concerts around the world. 

My goal as a tutor and future educator is to help young people love to learn and become lifelong learners. I have developed a great enjoyment in learning, thanks to passionate parents, teachers and mentors who taught me that knowledge applied stimulates progression, so I want to pass that on to the future generation.
