Kia ora,

My name is Dejah Stark and I am excited to be joining the Impact Tutoring team as a junior mathematics tutor. I believe my interest in mathematics and enthusiasm towards learning will assist me in being a helpful addition to the Impact family.

I’m currently a Year 12 student at Te Awamutu College, and my favourite subjects are maths and visual arts. I am also lucky enough to be moving to Singapore on a fully funded Scholarship to UWCSEA in August of 2024. This opportunity will allow me to expand my knowledge and use my education to promote positive change in the world.

My goal in taking on this role is to help our tamariki improve and excel in math, as I believe mathematics has many necessary skills that students can know how to implement in the outside world. 

Aside from my studies, I also enjoy playing volleyball, which is my main sport. I enjoy watching movies in my free time and hanging out with my friends.

I look forward to sharing my knowledge with these rangatahi, and helping them to excel in their studies!
